U of A Grounds Installation December 6th, 2003

Here was where most of our work really came together. The televisions, placed in the middle of lawn, emitted an beauitful blue light from a distance. Also, the sounds of the overlapping audio (especially the humming) drew people in and kept their attention jumping from one television to another. But what I was most struck by was how sad the televisions looked in the middle of the lawn--I guess you could call it 'displaced' or something--but the televisions seemed so lonely: humming into the after hours. They were without an audience, without a purpose, just sitting there...
