There are locusts

in the blue field, soaked hummingbirds, your skinny arm along my shoulders. Your arm called lightning—there are locusts going off like fire, spitting, a sequence of infinite maneuvers, a place in a pound of water, the housings, goings, knots cast off, tolisten to that deerhead. Still.

In Epistles
      Artaud dies
  He drinks
  Things my hands
The deer here
Seeing so many things lay about
  When the executioner's tired
  Not a real deer
  If he is seeds
I would wield a large pair of scissors
By counting
He says so
He tells me to move
The time being
You touch me
We refuse
There are locusts
